SENG is a 501(c)(3) corporation with offices in New York State’s Capital Region. Supported by a dedicated staff of five, the office is open Monday-Friday, 9 am-3 pm EST, except for federal holidays.
Executive Director: Elizabeth A. Ringlee
Elizabeth Ringlee, Executive Director, assumed her present role with SENG in 2015. A former media consultant, elite corporate trainer, and marketing executive with 30 years of experience in her field, she specializes in strategic planning, team building, and brand management. She delivers discerning guidance and strong professional acumen to the international organization. Ringlee originally benefited from SENG as parent for many years before accepting her current position. “SENG has been with me throughout my journey. It has provided encouragement and guidance, trained me as a SENG Model Parent Group Facilitator, assisted with contacts and referrals, and provided access to countless volumes of helpful information on the social and emotional needs of the gifted. I am confident that the service it provided contributed positively to my own development as well as the development of my children,” said Ringlee.
Development Coordinator & Executive Assistant: Jessica Judge
Jessica Judge assumed her present role with SENG in 2016. As a former Vice President of Upstate Fire Sprinkler, Ms. Judge was responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships as well as the development of strategic partnerships with businesses. She managed simultaneous development projects ensuring quality in workmanship and material delivery. Ms. Judge assisted in the development and strategic leadership of the business which nearly tripled the revenue within 2 years. Ms. Judge also temporarily assisted the Development Gift Department at Union College. Ms. Judge is bilingual in Spanish and the mother of 3 gifted children. She is passionate about assisting the Gifted Community.
Communications Manager: Melody Yourd
Melody Yourd assumed the role of SENG’s Communications Manager in 2015, after graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor’s degree in English. A gifted adult and passionate writer, Yourd has had multiple poetry and prose pieces published in creative arts magazines, and presented an academic paper at University of Puget Sound’s Race & Pedagogy National Conference in September 2014. Yourd is passionate about activism, education, LGBTQ+ rights, and advocacy for people with special needs (both gifts and disabilities). Yourd currently lives in Sacramento, California.
