Presenter Bio: Charissa Owens
Dr. Charissa M. Owens is the CEO and founder of Monarch Educational Enterprises, the only private educational firm in Charleston, South Carolina that provides advocacy and advising supports for families of children with disabilities. Dr. Owens, originally from Florida, completed her doctorate at the University of Central Florida. She is a published scholar and master teacher with over 15 years of experience in the field of education. With expertise in special education, gifted education, and behavior modification, Dr. Owens has dedicated her career to ensuring all students receive educational equity.
