SMPG Facilitator Directory

SENG Model Parent Group (SMPG) Facilitators are sensitive, caring persons who nurture, support, and guide parents as they struggle to find their own answers regarding parenting their complex children through guided discussion groups.

SMPG facilitators are not necessarily therapeutic clinicians. If you are seeking out counseling for yourself as parents or for your children, please refer to the SENG Brochure, Selecting a Mental Health Professional for your Gifted Child (Spanish version). You may also find referral information from your local or state gifted organizations. Although SENG does not endorse any specific mental health provider, we do maintain a Professional Member Listing, with special denotation of SENG Recognized Professional Members who have completed a required amount of continuing education specific to the social and emotional needs of gifted individuals.

If you are interested in having a local SMPG, the facilitator located closest to you may be able to assist you. SENG is currently rebuilding it’s list of SMPG Facilitators, so please check back often.
