Additional Information from the Hosts:

Raising a gifted child, teen, or young adult is both extraordinary and exhausting. Their boundless curiosity, emotional intensity, and rapid development can be awe-inspiring—and at the same time, leave caregivers feeling isolated, uncertain, exhausted, and overwhelmed. Many parents wonder: Am I doing enough? Am I doing it right? Why does my child seem so different? How do we manage school?

This group offers a safe and supportive space to explore these questions with others who understand. Together, we’ll share caregiving experiences, learn strategies, and build community around the unique joys and challenges of parenting gifted children. Each session will include reflective dialogue, evidence-based insights, and practical tools for navigating both daily struggles and long-term needs.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding asynchronous development and the uneven growth of gifted kids
  • Supporting emotional intensity, perfectionism, and sensitivity
  • Fostering resilience, creativity, and authentic connection
  • Advocacy at school and navigating systems that don’t always fit
  • Finding balance as a caregiver while nurturing your child’s needs

Who it’s for:
Parents, caregivers, and guardians of gifted or twice-exceptional children who want a deeper understanding of their child’s needs, a community of peers, and tools to parent with clarity and confidence.  More than one caregiver may attend this group for the single registration fee.
