The 2024 SENG Annual Community Conference in Berkeley, CA was a resounding success, bringing together a diverse group of individuals dedicated to supporting the emotional needs of the gifted community. This year’s conference featured an array of programming, including keynotes, workshops, and breakout sessions led by experts in the field. Highlights included keynote presentations by Paula Prober, who offered insights into the struggles and triumphs of gifted adults, and Frank Worrell, who delivered an inspiring address on the importance of nurturing talent with the right mix of challenge, support and timing. Other sessions covered topics such as creativity, emotional regulation and the unique challenges faced by gifted individuals in various educational settings.
