Additional Information from the Hosts:
Join us for 90-minute conversations offering support and resources. The small groups (limited to 14) are hosted by two SENG-certified facilitators. We run them for 6 weeks – starting Feb 3, 2026, from 12-1:30pm ET. Join us for this journey with other parents raising intense, intelligent kids! This material may also be highly relevant to you as often our parent participants discern their own giftedness/2e characteristics through raising their kids.
A little about us… Jennifer McKendree, M.Ed., is a mother and a gifted educator and administrator with graduate education in gifted learning and advocacy experience. Allison Krug, MPH, PCC, is also a mother of gifted/2e sons, a scientist, coach, and thought leader.
We will be using free resources and two books: A Parent’s Guide to Gifted Children (Webb, Gore, Amend, DeVries) Misdiagnosis and Dual Diagnoses of Gifted Children and Adults, 2nd edition (Webb, Amend, Beljan, Webb, Kuzujanakis, Olenchak, and Goerss)
Topics will include:
Spouse or partner is encouraged to attend (no extra charge). Income-sensitive pricing is available.
Here’s what other parents have had to say:
“The SENG parent group was a breath of fresh air for this determined, but weary, mom of an energetic, intense, precocious, charming daughter diagnosed with ASD/ADHD. Finding solidarity with parents who share similar experiences, exchanging stories, and sharing resources and ideas has put new wind in my parenting sails! The facilitators provided a structured, safe, no-judgement environment that helped me feel comfortable and challenged me to think in new ways about my daughter’s, and our family’s, life. I’m really grateful for these 6 sessions and I know that other parents will greatly benefit too. You are not alone!” ~Jennifer W, military spouse, South Carolina
“Mark and I keep talking about how life changing this group experience is. Your skill at facilitating is a wonderful gift to us all and I am grateful for you. The quality of this experience, the content and communication you provide outside of session, the sheer time, is far more valuable than the participant fee. We are so lucky to have met you and the other participants at this juncture in our pilgrimage.” (Bartholets, gifted/2e parents)
