May Topic:  Thriving in the Real World While Honoring Your Giftedness

About:

When entering the “real world,” where giftedness is often undervalued, individuals may feel discouraged, anxious, or depressed – convinced they cannot succeed in a culture of mediocrity, competition, and superficiality. Yet, some thrive spectacularly without losing integrity.

Drawing on a case study, Dr. Grobman will explore how to reacquaint yourself with early passion and big dreams; how to reconnect with an ambitious drive that you were told was beyond your reach or you felt was unnecessary because things came too easily.
